Scientific Journal Application Process

The management of any Faculty, Institute, Center, School, Conservatory, or Vocational School within the scope of ÇOMÜ Publications, who wishes to publish a new scientific journal, must first apply to the Coordination Office with the Journal Proposal Form attached before applying for ISSN/e-ISSN and obtain approval.

For the publication of a new scientific journal within the scope of ÇOMÜ Publications, the name, purpose, scope, and publication policy of the proposed journal are determined by the management boards of the University units. Following the decision taken, an application is made to the Coordination Office. The Coordination Office reviews this application, deliberates on it, and presents its views to the Publication Commission. The ISSN/e-ISSN application and other establishment procedures of the journal are carried out by the appointed Chief Editor.
