TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM continuously enhances the DergiPark infrastructure to provide an academic publishing system that complies with international standards. Within this scope, as of 2024, significant improvements have been made to the "Publisher Page" and "Scientific Publication Coordination" roles.

To ensure the effective management of these enhancements and to centralize communication, it has been recommended that universities establish "Scientific Journals Coordination Offices." With the newly introduced regulations, certain processes, including journal applications within DergiPark, can now only be carried out by the Scientific Publication Coordinator.

This collaboration is expected to significantly contribute to improving the quality of university-affiliated journals. To facilitate the effective implementation of this process, TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM has scheduled a web seminar titled "Creating a Publisher Page in DergiPark and the Appointment Process of the Scientific Publication Coordinator", which will take place on January 14, 2025, from 14:00 to 16:00.
